AIH AND GERMANIUM

Over 1 year ago I found a Japanese sufferer of AIH through this forum and began a correspondence with him but almost immediately my system crashed and I lost contact. My question is has anyone had any success with the use of the supplement "germanium" in the treatment of AIH? I was diagnosed in '92 with chronic AIH and have been relative active since but of late my digestion and internal pain have been almost intolerable during the evening and nighttime hours, is this "normal"? My energy has improved but weight and structure remain shallow...6'1" and only weigh 142-146lbs. I take 5-10mgs prednisone, 50mgs imuran and fosamax for bone thinning daily... Recently had a ultrasonic scan and found that the tumor on my kidney had grow slightly.(prenisone?) The wall of my abodomen on the right appears to be bloted slightly. Any answers??
