I agree with Jakied. Stop doing the drugs and alcohol now while you are young. You don't want to be in your 30s, 40s and 50s saying I wish I hadn't have done that. You are young enough to change now and take care of your body. So, I hope your Alt level scares you enough to stop now. It could get worse.
Alcohol can definitely increase your Alt level. If I read your post correctly, you are 15 yo and drinking alcohol and smoking pot? Do you see a problem here? STOP THAT!

there are no physicians monitoring this board. You will benefit from seing a GI. S/He can answer any questions you have
Hi Nick, Sorry you have above normal levels to be concerned about, but I must agree with Whoaisme ... actually 80 is pretty low by comparison, so if you are that concerned about your liver condition, WHY are you drinking??? Do some inter- searching, my friend. Then be good to Nick for a change and take care of your body. It's the only one you are going to get! Positive energy and prayers sent your way! Pattie
If you are concerned about the condition of your liver, stop drinking.
Without a biopsy (which is either an invasive proceedure or a set of non-invasive blood tests) it's not possible to asses the current state of the health of your liver.
Your elevated liver funtion tests could possibly be a result of the medications you are currently on. If you are concerned about having hepatitis, go back to your doctor and ask for the full battery of tests for the various types of hepatitis (A, B & C).
Schedule an appointment to discuss your results, the possible reasons for the elevation, and whether further testing is in order.
