AST Level

I am a female 55 and 117 pounds with Hepatitis. How serious is an AST level of 46 when normal range is 10-35

Not very serious at all. Before I started treatment mine were in the 200s. Liver enzymes can fluctuate on any given daily basis. A liver enzyme is released when liver cell dies - some die just as a part of life. Have you taken alot of tylenol or other medication lately that could do it. Do you have hepc?
