About pregnancy

I was infected with the hepatitis B virus when I was young. The blood test shows :HbsAg and HbeAg are both positive.I'm afraid whether it would infect my baby if I am pregnant and whether I need some treatment.
Thanks a lot.

this is the forum for all of the types of hepatitis, but most people are dealing with hep c. It is best to ask your PCP all those questions, or a OBGYN.

I think there is a HepB forum on here.  If I was you I would repost over there because while we have Hep we have C and aren't too familiar at all with things to do with B.

BEST of luck to you.

I have hep c so I cannot answer your question.  I don't know if they will treat you for hep while you are preggers.  You should consult a physician.
