Alpha-Fetoprotein test results and leg cramps

by nancy, Feb 01, 2000 12:00AM
I have had HCV for over 25 years (transfusion when my twins were born - we think).  I do have liver pain and severe cramps in my legs - the cryobo. test showed that I do not have this complication - any ideas on what could cause the pain- it seems to be more pressure on my veins at times (especially when I fly) than pain in my bones, etc.  Also, my alpha-fetoprotein test results were 10.51 over the range which puts me out of the normal range - should I be worried?
