Antibiotic while on treatment ?

Doctor perscribed antibiotic for my urinary tract infection for 10 days, I am worried that it will interfere with my treatment ( I am on 2nd week of Pegasys + Riba). Anyone know if it is ok?  Thanks for any input .

Shouldn't be a problem. Many of us took (take) antibiotics on treatment.  UTI's are a common problem that seems to worsen with tx.  You should be fine.  How are the first two weeks of treatment going?

It is not as bad as I expected yet, the worst day is Saturday and Sunday after Friday Shot, have a flu like sx. I noticef that I feel very sensitive now, every time my kids ask how am I doing, I always cry with no reason. I tell them not to ask me anymore. Thank you for your reply.

Get used to those topsy turvey emotions. LOL!

It's one of the glamorous sides that chug along with everything else... Churning and changing - like a side effect chameleon.

But most of us have taken antibiotics.

If you're a female - hit yourself up with some yeast infection stuff before you take them You have to double dose or triple dose while on TX.

Still - you will be just fine... I made it through - so can you.
