Yes I Believe 90% of the people on TX had to deal with light Headiness also intense itching.
To help with the itching, I found the Hydrocortizone 1% cream work very well, along with Benadryl Anti Itch cream. I also used alot of Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion with Colloidal Oatmeal all over my body, to keep it from drying out.

For your Nausea, try Ginger snaps or Ginger in capsule form. It can take away the upset stomach quite well.

Head down and Keep going forwards.

I itched so  much on tx and it does just drive you crazy. I tried baths,,,not real hot with the aveeno moisturizing bath and it seemed to help and while still damp after bath,,,put lots of lotion on,  That does help some.  If continues,,,tell your dr and they can give you something for the itching to help relieve.

I use the Nivea lotion.  It works great.  It is a little expensive but after 3 days of using it the itching is minimal

My husband uses a sunburn relief lotion, any brand, with aloe and lidocaine. There are also sprays available with lidocaine that help. A useful prescription is triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%. Lots of lotion and aveeno creams are good too. Good luck

Lavender oil....soothes inflamed skin, and the aroma reduces nausea.  A twofer.

My husband had terrible itching until he began taking Hydroxyzine Pam two times daily at 25 mg.  It took many years of trying over-the-counter medications, cream and prescriptons to find relief.  He used to wake me up in the night from his incontrollable itching.  Good Luck.

I use regular hair conditioner all over my body when I shower, even my face. I cover my entire body with it and then rinse it off. Just pat dry so the silky residue remains. It seems to make my skin softer and much less itchy.

OK! I have been itching and I have been scratching to the point of bruising !
I use 1% Cortisone cream and lots of lotions that are not to perfumy.
I also developed thrush and I was given Diflucan to expensive so the next time I got it, a week later I got the generic form FLUCONAZOLE tablet 150mg.  I was able to get it as prescribed by monthly doses.  I get 18 of them a month and thank God.
I am currently taking about every 2-4 days.
I have been sick with sinus infection and chest congestion since November, bout a few weeks after I began the Interferon and Ribavarin.  I am allergic to Penicillin so I am limited on the antibiotics.  I worry about the yeast infection as I read it can go all over inside our bodies and unchecked it seems to wreak havic.  I am going to my Dr in 2 days to find out if my white count is lower than the last time.
BUT OH MY GOD! the itch what a *****!!!!
I am very itch in the small of my back and at the top inside of my legs.  I am not overweight so I do not have alot of agitation but I am telling you God could have given me a more socially acceptable place to scratch! The worse is when I get a horrible itch above the pubic bone, what the hell?
I am sure glad to be on this site I have been so alone.
I made it through the 1st check point but had my dose reduced to 135 rather than 180 about a month ago.
I take benydryl at night for the itch as well as the creams.
I am sorry, I tried to get onto a thing like this before...maybe even this one.  But I get to where I cant sit for long  and when I can take a few minutes I ramble on.
I am lonely and I will try to go to the right topics for the rest of this.
Thanks and I hope all of you itch less and in places one can itch without hiding in the can!!!!!!LOL

I am on week 17/48, pegintron and ribaviron, viral load at 8 million/ml to start, type 1a/b, 20 plus years. Viral load less than 50 per ml at 12 weeks. I had horrible itching for weeks 2-15, (my husband said I had cooties, thankfully I have a good sense of humor) I tried everything including Oatmeal baths, baby-oil, lotions, vasoline, etc. Now,I am using Johnsons 24 hour moisture lotion, so far the itching has been alleviated by 85 percent.
