Anyone ever developed a boil from treatment?

Hi Gang!

I am in tx week 8 of the Boceprevir anemia management trial.
After taking shot 8 last Sat night, I woke Sunday morning with a boil starting on the heel of my left hand.
It has gotten bigger and more sore as the last few days have gone by.

Has anyone else had this issue? I did look up boils and it stated they can occur from cancer tx (Interferon?).
I know all my blood levels are below the lowest range - WBC, HGB RBC and neutrophils.
Is anyone aware of what I can do to help it along?

Thanking you all in advance?

I don't have boils Gee, but I have sores inside both my nares that are very painful. Plus, I have seasonal allergies, so lots of thick mucus behind the poor dried and cracking sores. Yuck!!
