Thanks for the comments. I wish I had gotten a handle on the rash sooner as you mentioned. I think when I passed out, the dehydration that I had accelerated the rash.
My husband had a "moderate" skin rash from Incivek from about week 2 through about week 4. It looked and felt worse than "moderate", but when compared to the pictures that are posted for comparison, it was "moderate". He did turn red, had welts, had a few small blisters, and it moved from one area of the body to another. It never fully covered his body, but rather would start in one area, and then move to another area. We used over the counter (Eucerine cream, Eucerin body wash, tea tree oil) and prescription medications to treat it. He avoided hot showers, used the Eucerin cream after getting out of the shower, and took the prescription medications as prescribed rather than waiting for the rash to get bad again. He drank a lot of water. After the redness went away, his skin did dry and peel in many places. After week 4, much of that was gone, he continued with Incivek, and finished it on Dec. 22nd. None of the skin reactions from Incivek continued. He has had some itching and tingling since finishing Incivek, but nothing like the Incivek rash.
