I used to post on here quite a bit awhile back..I have AIH (autoimmune hepatitis)..I was just wondering if since being diagnosed with AIH, has anyone been diagnosed with another autoimmune disease..
I have: FirstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc of all, I was diagnosed with Fibro back in around 1992 which some consider autoimmune, then the AIH in 2001, and just recently with SD (SclerodermaScleroderma Scleroderma - resources).. Now that I have done more research about SD, I think, that I have probably had it longer, but it just took awhile to put all the pieces together.. I'd often go to a dr. with my complaints, but it was a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys of this or a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys of that and no one ever knew..
But now that they say, if you have one autoimmune disease, you are more likely to have or get another, it seems the drs take you more seriously, as far as checking into possible other diseases..
As far as my AIH, I was doing good up until March, and then all of a sudden my levels jumped up again, but I think it was because my gastro was trying to cutCuts and puncture wounds back on my Imuran - he had cut me back to 25mg daily, and at my next set of labs is when my enzymes were elevated..He took me back up to 50mg Imuran and they did come down a little after six weeks..Will have to see what happens in another 6 weeks.........By doing good, I mean my levels were all good, not neccesarily that I felt the greatest - I still suffer from a lot of fatigue and joint pain, but then again that could be the SD........
Take Care Everyone................Love, Donna
