Anyone out there on trials for PSI7977?

Well, just started a research trial for Hep C geno 3a!  Pretty excited about this as it does not involve interferon!  Just what I was looking for! Since this is a worldwide Phase 3 study, I was wondering if any medhelpers are out there starting it too.

I started the pills on March 16.  Two of the 7977 and 5 ribavirin.  Will go in for blood draws weekly to see what's what.  When I started the tx my viral load (we all know that varies) was 252,000 up from 178,000.  (I've had Hep C for 10 years and I believe my count is so low because I've been going to the altar at church.)  Will see what it is after the draw tomorrow.  I'll update that as soon as I know the numbers.  I forget what my starting alt and other numbers were, but will update those as well when we get results.  Right now I'm excited about this tx.  NO SIDE EFFECTS!

You're not the only one that loves Monty Python :-) Have you watched the Doc Martin series on PBS? No comparison to Ponty Python. Just full of quirky characters.

I've heard they are calling it the Holy Grail.  Every time I hear that, I think of Monty Python's Holy Grail...one of my favorite movies.  Love that English dry/slapstick humor.
