Auto Immune and Hep C

I finished tx a little over a year ago. Relapsed in first 4 mo. Type 1A. My white cells have continued to be low for a year. My liver dr. did nothing about that. Finally got a primary dr and they immediately made an appointment for the rheumatoligist. Now I am having other problems. Tested positive for Sjorgens and for another auto immune which don't know yet what it is. I have an appt. with a rheumatologist at the end of the month. I have been having heart arthmeia also. What could be going on?

Cindy, here's a really informative page on Sjogren's.

Some of the symptoms explain perhaps some of what you're experiencing.  I'm guessing a rheumatologist can check for things like rheumatoid arthritis which is another autoimmune disease, different than arthritis itself.  Interferon can trigger one or more autoimmune diseases and once you have one, you are more susceptible for others. It's good you're getting medical attention and I hope you get to the bottom of all these things.
