Autoimmune Hepatitis or Exhausted Liver?

I was diagnosed with AI Hep four years ago and take prednisone.  Have had several flareups usually stress related.
However, after eating sushi (after which I expereinced nausea and the fatigue) and a lapsed diet which included a binge of junk food (usually am really good about my diet), I came down with inflamed liver.  My ALT was 1133 and AST 822, Alk Phos 239. WBC was normal range.
Is it probable or possible that this is the result of an overtaxed liver.
If this is possible, then an effective immune system would automatically jump in and begin to attack the inflamed organ (performing its correct function) which in turn would then cause the WBC to elevate as a result of the attacking lymphocites?
Would you consider and offer your opinion.
I ask this as I do not want to be on medication for the rest of my life.  And if a sensible diet could prevent this flareups I would obviously opt for this.
My medical history included hep A and in my late teens a comment from the GP that I had a weak liver.
Would you please advise.  Thank you for your help.

Hi! It's great to hear you're feeling much better post tx. That was one of my worries going into this thing, that I would end up feeling worse than I did to start with.
I also wanted to ask you or anybody else if you ever got sore on your scalp. They are like scabs(gross) and they are sore!

I,m not to bad, thanks for asking. Yes overspending! That was not something i expected however the banks need people like me and i'm sure thier profits will be put to good use. The only problem i appear to have been left with is being more obvously vulnerable to stress as it now appears as peripheral neuropathy. I get to the point that i can't type (relief for some) and i have not got back to previous energy yet. I should be due the 6mnt post test soon but my mind is all focused on the year. Got to learn to live less stressfully. Takes a long time for lessons of life to sink in with me. Glad you're well. Look after yourself.
Much Love M
