Bad stomach cramping

Hi all:
Had my 5th shot Friday  I have a new symptom really bad stomach cramping and pain.
The Doc gave me meds for vomiting  and naseau but it is not that feeling at all. I tried Prylosec
not working. If someone is having the same symptom could you let me know what helps? If it wasn't
for the bad stomach I would be feeling better then the first few weeks except no energy I'm sure my count is down going for more blood work Wed.

Hard to eat the 20 grams of fat with my blood pressure, gout, proturia and hep c meds I'm taking 17 pills a day. I'm sure that isn't helping my stomach either. But it never hurt like this until the triple tx. I would love your feed back.
Have a nice Labor Day!!!

Thanks.  Definitely, since it's that bad for you, please let your doc know ASAP so they can help.  If you stop the new drugs, you can't do them again in the future, so let the doc help you through this.  Listen to your wifey :)  while listening to your own threshold for pain.

Hi Clyde, sorry to hear this news.  In my training class, they talked about the possibility of stomach pain and other GI issues, and offered the following:

1. ALL the meds cause GI issues
2.  In the mornings, after a night of sleep/fasting, put something cold in your tummy (cold water, cold ginger ale) first as this will be more soothing; then go on as you normally would
3.  For the morning dose of RIBA, have a ROBUST breakfast to buffer the stomach; space out the different meds and try to take them at least 30 minutes apart (so a snack, then VIC, then breakfast, then RIBA), to give your stomach time to process them
4.  Stay away from spicy or too greasy foods; they are Not your friend during tx

Beyond that, definitely let your doc or care nurse know about your pain.  Hoping you feel better soon.  I haven't added the VIC yet and hope to avoid that side.  Take care!
