That's a lot of biopsies for someone with no fibrosis!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When where they done?

How far apart?

When was the fibrosure taken?

Before the biopsies? Between the biopsies? After the biopsies?

If you could provide a bit more information it may be possible to venture an opinion, but from what you have provided it is not possible to help you.

Some detail on your Hepatitis C and treatment history would also be illuminating..

Yes this is just so far a difference that it makes no sense at all.
If the biopsy showed 0 damage why would they keep giving you more and more or is this over like a 20 year time difference?

That would be helpfull to know and perhaps put forth some sort of explanation.

Maybe they use different scales.

I.e. I had a fibroscan done and it shower 5.2 damage. That corresponds to F0-1 (stage 0-1) on the Metavir scale

Maybe a troll

What'e a fibrosure test. Since I had my first liver biopsy they've only given me ultra sounds. I think I was something like stage 3-4. But it's been quite a while. They didn;t expect me to live this long.

Fibrosure is a blood test that attempts to assess liver damage. It is a patented computer algorithm that uses six blood components, and can be used as a surrogate to biopsy. While it isn’t invasive, many clinicians don’t put much weight into the results; it is better at recognizing very low damage and high damage, but not particularly accurate in the mid ranges of fibrosis, we’re told.
