Biopsy

My Biopsy was done yesterday, was to be a Ultrasound Guided Biopsy but due to concerns they changed the plan on me. They did a CT scan with contrast, then I had to wait. After a 30 minute wait I went back to the CT machine room and was prepared. I was told that they were concerned about some type of mass on my initial Ultrasound, so the Doctor again did another CT scan. He took one sample, then I was again scanned, for a total of 3 samples. My Biopsy was done more through the front than the side, and I was wondering if this was common because I had thought it was done more at the side. Also, I was wondering how long it takes to know the Biopsy results? Sorry so long! Thanks again all!

NO I think mine was done from the front as well and he took three samples as well.

My biopsy involved two samples taken from the front; roughly below the nipple line and just under the last rib. I imagine you’re doctor will have results from pathology in two to three days? It shouldn’t be too much of a wait.
