Blister

I am on the Victrelis  I cant get this blister to go away.  I guess that's the best way to put it!  It's on the gum above the tooth.  It doesn't get bigger or smaller but i have never had anything like that and it's making nervous!  I am trying the mouth wash like someone suggested but I can't find my old post about this I posted in the begging of treatment so I am asking again sorry if it's a repeat Brain Fog is here!  I think the mouth wash maybe stopping it from going further but I would like it to just go away!  If you guy's can't help I will go to Oz and talk to the Good Witch!  ;)

You got great advice. I had mouth problems throughout tx. I used biotene products, magic mouthwash, and even monostat on corners of mouth along with triamcelone. The good news is that it did go away. I'm getting my first cleaning @ 3 months post.
Great attitude. It's a hassle having to carry all this stuff with you, but it will end...

You are both very, very lucky to have never gotten cold sores. Most people get cold sores when they are babies or are small children. It only takes 1 kid to infect an entire classroom and then they all have cold sores.

Okay, now if you have sores on the corners of your mouth that's called angular chillitis. I had it towards the end and just after tx. The dental paste won't work on that, I tried.
Use monistat or some other anti-fungal cream.

I think it's a combination of our previous dental problems, and the Tx.
When I was in week 5, I got sore gums around a tooth that had been recently root-canaled and then crowned.
I did try Treating the soreness with Pennicillin VK, but that didn't do much. But then I started using mouth-wash 4 times a day, and I got rid of alot of my mouth problems that way.
At different times in Tx, I have had different problems, I have had the little hard red bumps on my tongue, the cuts on the sides of my tongue, small ulcers on my gums, etc, and I have never had the herpes virus either, so I am pretty sure thats not what it was.
I did some research, and found out that tooth-paste that has Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) in it, can be irritating, so I switched my tooth-paste and mouth-wash brand to a natural, organic one: Desert Essence with Tea Tree (tooth-paste and mouth-wash).
The tea-tree in the mouth-wash worked wonders for me~

My doctor prescribed an dental paste for me called Triamcinolone Acetone dental paste.
Usually I can get rid of canker sores and such with lysine or simply eating lots of parsley or using acidopholus, but when all else fails, a little dab of this stuff does the trick.

Although it may be aggravated because of dental issues, you can't say it isn't there because of tx. It could be a combination of the two as well.

Well I know it's not that when I found out about the Hep C I was tested for every thing known to man and again before treatment because I was flipped out! I had a crown and a root canal 2 weeks prior to treatment and its about the same tooth and I thought it was from the med's I guess it's time to go to the dentist and make sure I had time to heal and didn't get a infection hope not on top of this tx!

was an abscess tooth I didn't no I had.  It didn't even hurt.  Its just a
thought. One blister that doesn't go away is weird.

Here is your old thread and post:

and here is some information on Herpes Simplex:
(I am not saying you have active Herpes Simplex, but it is one of the most common causes of blisters in the mouth. Almost all of us carry the virus but it usually lies dormant. )

http://www.aad.org/skin-conditions/dermatology-a-to-z/herpes-simplex/who-gets-causes/herpes-simplex-who-gets-and-causes

"Who gets herpes simplex?"
"Most people get HSV-1 (herpes simplex type 1) as an infant or child. This virus can be spread by skin-to-skin contact with an adult who carries the virus. An adult does not have to have sores to spread the virus."

"What happens once you have HSV-1 or HSV-2"
"Once a person becomes infected with a herpes virus, the virus never leaves the body. After the first outbreak, the virus moves from the skin cells to nerve cells. The virus stays in the nerve cells forever. But it usually just stays there. In this stage, the virus is said to be dormant, or asleep. But it can become active again."

"Some things that can trigger (wake up) the virus are:"

    Stress
    Illness
    Fever
    Sun exposure
    Menstrual periods
    Surgery

My educated guess is that the Herpes Simplex becomes more active because we are on treatment. I have had three bouts with it myself while on treatment. Mine was on the tongue once and the gum twice. Treatment puts a lot of stress on us physically as well as mentally.
