Bloods Dropped

Is this normal... Hematocrit started 42.4, now (2weeks later) 33.8 and Hemagloban started at 14.2, now 11.3. I am tired and dizzy, usuallly active, now I just feel like lying around. Walking up the stairs takes the wind out of me. This just s--ks. Anyone else experience this? And the migraines! My blood pressure is almost too low, too... 95/55!  Oh, this is my third week of Tx. What bliss! The whole thing is starting to tick me off.  Well, thanks in advance for your input.

my first three weeks of tx I had bad headaches too. Tho only thing that helped was ice pack. It will go away. The fatigue and weakness unfortunately follow most of us thruout tx, one day at a time. Im on #14 and it still very crappy but better than in the first 8 -10 weeks. Takes about 2 months for the meds to accumulate fully in your system. Hopefully then you will find some balance.
My doctor wont put me on  procrit till I reach 10.
Im still stable as far as labs but have dropped also.
Its a long road.

Feel better

In the beginning I felt the same way, very tired and dizzy.  I used to be out of breath and felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen at times.  All of that has seemed to go away.

Welcome!

Now, my labs have been all over the place from the very first week.  My WBC and ANC have been the most problematic and have required additional injections of Neupogen.

My Hemotocrit is 34.1 and Hemoglobin 11.3.  I also take Procrit for that.

I haven't had a migraine but I have read that another person recently starting TX was having a migraine as well.  So, some have it and some do not.

It is normal to feel tired and dizzy, low energy no motivation etc.  Just hang in there, take it one week at a time.  What genotype are you?  Are you tx for 24 wks or 48 wks?

You will gain a lot of valuable info on this forum.  Some you can take and some you can leave.

Hope your migraine goes away soon.

What you described is pretty normal. Except for the migraines you are experiencing exactly what I did. The blood pressure should normalize. Keep an eye on it. Your body is still adjusting to the meds. If that is all I experienced during treatment I would be happy. Just make sure if you have any infections or throat problems that you go to the DR right away. You don't want it to get worse.
