Body aches

I finished with the Incivek part of my triple med tx.,but of course I have to continue the Riba and Interferon. Other than the fatigue my only real complaint is body aches.  And they are becoming a major issue. It hurts everywhere. It's hard fir me to even hold my arms up long enough to blow dry my hair at times. I am on Tramadol due to a back injury I had before but it doesn't help much. Messages and warm baths help a little but only temporarily. My sister suggested that since the messages and baths help, that maybe the pain is muscle related and maybe a muscle relaxer would help. Do Drs prescribe anything for body aches while on tx usually?  If so I will talk to my GI. If not has anyone else had really bad body aches with tx and do you have any suggestions on what I can do other than take Ambien and try to sleep through it?  Thanks for listening. Terry

I have the joint pains as well and my Dr said there was a slight chance of seizure when taking tramadol and Incevik. They gave me Tylenol with codeine instead. It helps.

I think I have a similar problem to you, if I stand in one place for more than a few minutes my feet start to tingle/go numb as if they are going to sleep.  If I ignore it and continue to stand (DUH) it will then start to travel up my leg
At first when I started with this the doctor wasn't sure what it was.  As time has gone one and I am not the only person in his office on Incivek with anemia he said it is the anemia that is causing this problem so I try not to stand still alot lol
Saturday is my last day of Incivek I am looking forward to that as I am hoping theses blister in my mouth on my lips is being cause by the Incivek.  I did not have this with the old SOC
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

I had the same problem but it turned out to be anemia. Everything hurt and was weak. Sometimes I couldn't stand on my feet for 30 seconds. I had a blood transfusion of 3 units and the next day there was no more achey pains. I'm sure your Dr. does the bloodwork and he should be able to tell you if it's anemia. I truly hope you get to feeling better soon, I really sympathize with you. It was the worst feeling.
