Boston Marathon or bust!!!

Hello everyone!! Well been off tx for almost 3 weeks and I'm not recovering quite as fast as I did the last time. I have a few clinical trials that have shown some interest but I probably won't do anything until after summer. I have 5 weeks before the Boston Marathon so I hope I have recovered by then. Never-the-less, I am still doing the Boston even if I have to crawl over the finish line. I am doing Boston for the Stroke Association and they are really making me feel pretty special. I guess I'll get to meet Tedy Bruschi and a few other dignitaries. Pretty cool. I'm a Raider fan and meeting anyone other than Bruschi would be difficult but he is really a great player so it will be an honor. He also had a stroke recently. Anyway, its nice talkin at you all. Hope all is going well for the most part. I'll probably come back in a couple of times before the big dance. Talk to you soon.

I am wishing you all the best on marathon day! You sound like a strong person, so you will do great!

I will be running to raise money for the American Liver Foundation. Look for us in orange singlets!

My father had toxic hepatitis and I will be running in his memory.

I will be watching and cheering along the route!  I'll look for people running for the Stroke Association.  Will you have it on you somewhere?  Marathon day is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE day of the year :)  Good luck.  I hope you feel well enough to run but if not, at least walk instead of crawl :)

Thank you, amommy! I don't know what the Boston Stroke Assc. jerseys look like but I would assume they are red. We are called Tedy's Team in Boston named after Tedy Bruski(?)the Patriot linebacker who is also a stroke survivor. I am 6'3", 245lbs and walk/run with a cane. I'll be one of the many guys with a smile on my face. I'll be looking for you. Yell Medhelp & wave. Thanks again!!

Hi. I just received my singlet from the Boston Stroke Assc and I can give you a better description of the outfit. The singlet (tank top) is white and the shorts are blue. So thats what I'll be wearing. The singlet says Tedy's Team in blue around the chest area. Keep an eye out! See you then.

I'm sure you know but Tedy's last name is Bruschi not Bruski. Sorry...dyslexia. Or old age. LOL
