How All, sorry I haven't been in touch lately. I been trying to see my way thru the tx. I geno type 1a and starting 7/1 will be on my last week of 48 tx. I just had another lab done and my vl is undeteted. But I am concerned about my hct = 31.4, hgb = 10.1, wbc 2.0, and rbc = 2.87, all is below normal range. I have been on epogen wkly. Should I be very concered at this point went I'm starting my last week. Will it all start to go back to normal after tx. Did anyone experience these result toward the end of tx and if so, did it go back to norm after tx. Thank you, so much BAW

You sure do have it made ;):) .. Congrats on the last week of TX and congrats on those bloods - they are great for a person TXing !

No need for concern in any of those I wouldnt think - and in a few weeks you will feel WONDERFUL again.

My husband tells me that after TX I am going to be so full of energy I will be like a superball looking for a wall to bounce off of LOL.
Im sure that it wont be long til your Lab results are normal again and you can find a wall to bounce off of too :)

I know how you feel with hemoglobin at 10.1.  Once you stop the Riba, it should start to rise.  Mine was slow to recover and I continued to take the Procrit and the Neupogen (for the low whites) for a few weeks after tx was over.

I believe the interferon goes away fairly quickly, but the ribavirin can take months to completely leave the system.  I felt - I don't know how to explain it but - creepy crawly things under my skin when.  Very itchy all over but it does go away.

Congratulations on finishing.
