CBC's

by traveler65, Feb 23, 2007 12:00AM
Got my labs today for end of week 3 cbc. Looks like I am on my way to being anemic. I took my fourth shot on Monday (after labs)so my HEMO is probably even lower. Don't feel to bad, just tired. Still able to do some exercise most days. 4 week PCR next Monday, and meet with doc on Thursday. Would appreciate any comments on the labs.

HGB = 10.9
HCT = 31.3
PLT = 289

Thanks

YOur WBC's look good! Wish I could get mine that high. 4.8-10.8.  RBC range is 4.70-6.10, HGB is 14.0-18.0, HCT is 42.0-52.0, and PLT is 130-400. These are the lows and highs on my lab work. I think the numbers might vary from lab to lab but basically they all should be ball park figures. Hope it helps.

I'm a little dense so I can't quite figure out your chart but I'm on week 10 and I had to start neupogen for low WBC (2.1 and 1.7), low ANC's and low platelets around week 4 or 5.

From what I've read on Forum, this is par for the course for many folk.
