I was diagnosed with cll the day befor thanksgiving 2009.  Being an african american female age 54. it totally knocked me off my feet. All the info i found was watch & wait and i had a good five years ahead of me.  After a bout of acute pancreatits and strep i, watching became six months of chemo (rituxin, cytoxan & fludera) june 2013 until oct 2013,became hospital stays until May 2014 became active disease again.!!! Right now i am awaing biopsie results for staging and whatever cll turns into the second time around.  i dont mean to throw alot out there but this has benn the only venue where i can vent and finc someone who knows of chemos effect on their life and state of mind. i accidentally found this site looking for  life expectancy of cll, go figure.  hope your tratment has better results.

Based on your Bio, it appears that you're also infected with HCV.  I knew that there was an associated risk of NHL and HCV.  I recently heard that a friend of mine from many years ago also has HCV and NHL.  I don't communicate with him so I can't ask if he's had any experience with the treatment you're inquiring about.

Good luck to you.
