Can I shave under treatment

Hi everyone. Finally I got those Indian pills and I have start treatment. 4 days taking and no side effects for the moment or almost nothing. I just wanted to ask you guys in case that I might shave my self there is a risk that I can infect myself again?! What are hygiene measures that I need to follow? For example my toothbrush can infect me again? Usually I have some blood coming out from the tooth. For the moment I have stopped washing my teeth an shaving.

I will ask him for sure but sometime the theory does not match with what really happen. For example we have read that the incubation period of the HCV virus is 3month. I got cut during the shaving and again can i infect my self with my own blood, cause I am not cure? I have been taking these Indian pills for 10days and the HEP C is still on my blood. This is mostly my concern.
There have been no reports of self reinfection.

As I said I took no special measures as far a personal hygiene products and neither did a lot of other people but we were sucessfully treated and are now cured. If it makes you feel better to change out your personal hygiene products go ahead but it isn't really necessary

When you say Indian pills what medicine are you taking? If it is the Indian generic version of Harvoni? The majority people taking Harvoni and others of the new DAA's will test as not detected by 4 weeks and all will experience a significant reduction in viral load almost immediately.

Hope your treatment is going well

Yes you can shave and brush your teeth. If you like you can use a weak bleach solution to soak your personal equipment.

Some people changed their personal products out of this concern.

I did not change anything or do anything different I just rinsed with hot water.

But I was still cured
