Worldnetdaily?? You have to be kidding...these are the same wingnuts who accused Clinton of killing Vincent Foster, dealing drugs, and assorted other fantasies. You might want to consider the source.
The second post is welcome news from the "reality-based" community of scientists who actually engage in empirical work...until some of the wackos at worldnetdaily start shrilly accusing them of moral transgressions for creating viruses in a test tube.
Yes, with difficulty. Keeps the hands and mind occupied, that's for sure.
Banana peels-roses?? Sounds like they would have a nice fragrance but would'nt you have to peel the blossoms?
Scott, I just addressed a status report to Scruffy down in the "Stamina" thread. All and all I think I'm getting through this fairly intact physically and emotionally strong after 52 weeks of treatment challenge. A bit unflappable, maybe? Of course, we'll see, won't we...
How's your new Zen existence going? Has your wife got you burying banana peels at the feet of the roses yet?

Mikeymike, that's just where propaganda items masquerading as straight "news" should be disposed of.
a year or so ago in the hepattitis magazine there was an articule about the red cross selling 76,000 cases of hepc contimanited blood to south korea, they knew the blood was contimaneted and sold it any way between 1999 and 2003.
Without question this was a tradegy! But to accuse someone so far out of the loop is ridiculous. Please--this is nonsense! A Bill Clinton appointee oversaw a program. Somebody else handled contracting and the Canadians didn't test the blood. Pity the victims and shame the distributors.
Bronx
Kudos to Mr Brett Lindenbach and his team.
This could certainly speed up progress-a good thing indeed. frank
