Chapped hands, do they pose a risk?

Does my having chapped hands increase my risk of catching Hepatitis B or C or anything else for that matter? I ask because in the winter months and because of my excessive hand washing my hands get rather chapped. I might have come into contact with blood on intact skin on my hands but proceeded to wash my hands after. My question is could that put me at risk? I apologize if I offend anyone here that is infected as it is not my  reason to do such a thing. Thank you and God bless. And i do plan on talking to my Doctor about getting help for my anxiety.

Hep B is a STD. Hep A is from infected food in restaurants. Hep C is from blood to blood from a needle. Stop worrying. You can't get it from chapped skin. You are driving yourself crazy. Let it go. Stop it.

Thanks guys. The reason I asked is my skin gets really raw and tends to  crack but does not usually bleed. I figured with my anxiety the blood or whatever would get forced into the chapped skin along with the water and soap.

You are at no risk as Hep C is caused from blood to blood. And you have no worry about Hep B either. What you need to do is get the vaccine for Hep A and B, everybody needs to. There is no current vaccine for Hep C.

And ye do see a doctor over your anxiety. Good luck to you.
