Chronic Active Hepatitis and strange symptom

by rthornton, Apr 08, 2002 12:00AM
I have Autoimmune Hepatitis, diagnosed last December.  I am taking low doses of Prednisone and moderate dose of Imuran.  I am having a strange new symptom and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

I have a mild burning sensation on my skin...face,eyelids, upper back and arms mostly (no visible rash or anything).  Also get "pins and needles" feelings in my hands and feet.  I also am mildly hypothyroid...which can cause the hands and feet feelings, but the face burning has me a bit alarmed.  I have an appointment with my hepatologist next week, and will discuss this with her.  Just wondering if anyone else had anything like this and could give some input!

Thanks, Rebecca
