Coconut oil for fat

Has anyone had experience using coconut oil.  It was recommend to me for something else, but 1 tablespoon has 14 grams of fat.  It comes in a jar and is solid unless heated.  Supposedly taste free.  Might be good in a smoothie or with hot tea/coffee. Don't want to add anything to the already burning incivek issues or increase any other digestive issues, but always looking to add something to the 20 grams routine.

Thanks

Another plus for coconut oil, though not hep C related:

"There is a growing body of evidence supporting the notion that coconut oil is a wise choice for those with chronic Hepatitis C - but not everyone is convinced.  Dr. Weil reminds us that coconut oil is a saturated fat - and, as one, it can raise cholesterol levels - a situation that could aggravate the liver's well-being.. Thus, he suggests coconut oil should play a very limited role, if any, in the diet."

Take this with a grain of salt, unless on a low sodium diet.  :o))
