~~~DON'T QUIT~~~
by cindee, Oct 19, 2003 12:00AM
This is to all my HepC friends @ family...IT sure has helped me and I wanted to share W/you all!!!! LOVE to all. ~Cindee~         DON'T QUIT
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you are trudging seems all up hill,
When ths funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit!
Life is strange with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with a another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst....
THAT YOU  MUST NOT QUIT!!!!!! PS I',48f geno1a, did shot 46/48!!!
I love this poem because of what it says and the way it says it; to the point.
I printed it out and put it in a pretty frame.  I have it hanging where I can see it every morning when I get up as well as every night when I go to bed.
Thank you!
My 80 yr old neighbor gave this to me on plaque....it touched me so that I cried. I have really had a tough time on tx...did shot 47/48 this past friday @ we were @ the beach. I really didn't feel like going, but my husband of less than a yr has put up with all my **** so I hung tough for him. We did walk on the beach for a few minutes...but we stayed in the condo and rested. We took food with us...We did have take out from Applebee's....ribs. I actually went out on the balcony and enjoyed the view from there. I only went down to the beach 3x and didn't stay longer than 10 minutes each time. I guess I don't like leaving my comfort zone. Well you take care and KNOW YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS, AS WELL AS ALL OF MY HEP C FAMILY. This place is a BLESSING! ~Cindee~
