I would like to thank everyone who has put up with my antics and helped me
over the last 18 months of this journey, for without you it would have been
a lot harder to deal with treatment alone.

Thank You All! It has been one heck of a journey I will say that. I’ve been to the dark side of the moon and back that’s for sure as many here, who have or who are now in between that space and time known as the twilight zone.

The only residual sx of the meds barring preexisting is that I ate too many fatty foods and smoked too many cigarettes. Red Lobster is out for now; I think it was all the shrimp scampi in garlic better that did my Triglycerides in, now sitting at 453 all though the cholesterol is in the normal range according to the notes received. Hey! I guess I was getting enough fats in the diet for the absorption of the riba, lol.

Triglycerides go up from eating sugar.  Cut out the sweet stuff and they'll go down quickly.

This is great news.  I remember when you posted that video you and cruelworld made on youtube.  I was at four weeks into treatment feeling like a train had just run over me .. and then you posted that video...I laughed and I cried and if you were here, I would have hugged you to pieces for your spirit and your humour.  You have never failed to be an encouragement and a spirit lifter .. and a moral compass at times, all of which I am grateful for.

You sir, are a class act and I salute you.  It gives me great pleasure to know you are SVR.

Trish, those were some great times for the crazy man, hell I didn’t even know where I was coming from or weather to stand up or sit down and got very dizzy during that time. Cruelworld did a great job making the video while extreme tx’ing and singing hepmax prision blues was just over the top but that is what this site is all about, spirit and encouragement.

It was pretty simplistic after I thought about it for a while, all the players were there just had to sort out who was doing what and at what time. The moving time table protocol was just that, moving but not too far from the protocol. The thought after getting into this mess blinded was to hit it hard in the beginning, ride it as long as possible, drop back, and try to hold it together and then bang it hard coming down the home stretch and cruse into the winners circle. There were a lot of bumps in this journey and a couple of cliffs along the way but we made it, as I’m sure you will too. There were a lot of ingredients put into this pot of stew outside the doc’s office and by some very experienced and knowledgeable people here and the detailed instructions although fragmented at times did come together for me. Six months is looking Great but the year will be even better! I think lol.
