According to your profile you are using Incivek in your trt.  Prior to beginning this round of trt, didn't your doctor determine your genotype prior to making the decision to add one of the PI's?  I would hope you've been typed a Geno 1 (a or b) to be put on this trt.  Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question???

Since you probably already know your viral genotype (geno 1), are you asking about testing for the IL28B gene (CC, CT, TT) ?  If so, this is a human gene, not viral, so it can be determined even if you are now undetected.  Not really sure of your question, so hope that helps.

Nurse mentioned I was only to be tested for CBC and diff but for some reason lab also tested for geno type and come back negative.

Can't say for positive but I don't think so since there is no detectable virus to check but if I'm wrong one of the smart guys will chime in and let you know for sure
