Do I have to have a prescription to buy Ursofalk?

My relative lives in China and she needs to take Ursofalk for her liver for a very long period. She has the prescription from her doctor in China. But Ursofalk in China is 5 times more expensive than in USA, which is not affordable for a long term. Can I show the prescription to a doctor here so that we can buy the drug from USA? Thanks.

Oddly enough I take Ursodiol 300mg three times a day.  I take it to reduce the consistancy of bile to protect grafted bile ducts after transplant surgery.  I know that it is also given to cystic fibrous patients.  Most times when I list it as one of my medications, medical personeel in general are not familiar with it or want to know why I take it since I have no gall bladder.  It also is supposed to reduce alk phos levels for me but still they are mildly elevated.  Seems to me  one of the more benign drugs I take and would not think terribly hard to get.  Then I have not tried.  Not sure how I can help but if I can I will ask my doctor next week if somehow it can be done
