Do the Hemorrhoids go away after treatment?

I just started triple therapy last Monday. While I have been lucky and have had mostly mild symptoms so far, I started getting hemorrhoids a couple days ago and they really hurt. I never have had hemorrhoids before so I know they are from the drugs. My question: will they disappear after I get off the meds?

Yes they will go away not long after stopping the incivek. Relief is around the corner. Hang in there

Good luck to you guys. Does not sound fun. There's something poetic about a hemorrhoid post going from livingontheedge to pooh55881.

I saw a septic truck yesterday from the "Ker Plunk" Plumbing Company. Life is so rich.

You are not alone :(   LOL !   funny but not funny .     I am on the same tx you are with INC.   And in 48 years have never had hemmies until now.    Yes, the INC does cause them and for me its a constant battle.   I do all the mentioned above tricks and I still have them, some days are good and some days are worse.   But the good news is INC is only for 12 weeks,   and hopefully by then they will too !    Stay clean !   LOL !     BTW ,  I use Desitin Diaper rash cream with 40% Zinc and works wonders.   Doctor also called in a script for Anusol Suppositories, which burns like crazy, so I nixed that.   Prep H works good too !

Thanks for all of the suggestions and support.

I saw the nurse last Monday (for my weekly check) and the doctor prescribed 3% xylocaine and 0.5% hydrocortizone cream for me. It took 2 days for the pharmacy to get it and by then my hemorrhoids had improved. However, I continue to use the regular hemorrhoid cream and also the baby wipes and I will have the new prescription cream if the hemorrhoids become unbearable again.

Thanks. I will look forward to them hopefully disappearing in 11 weeks, LOL. In the meantime, I have been using aloe wipes and Prep. H (and keeping exceptionally clean). I can try the Hydrocortisone cream too. I don't know about the ice cube, LOL. Thanks for responding shanro and GINGERPAL.

I hope so!!! Lol!  They're from the Incivek... I've been told that they will go away once I'm done with the Incivek... I have 3 1/2 weeks left on the Incivek so if no one else knows by then... I'll let you know!! :)  Tucks and Hydrocortisone prescription cream helps... plus make sure you stay very clean... use Cottonelle aloe wipes after you go to the bathroom every time whether it's #1 or #2.. I even bring them in my purse everywhere with me... it's totally worth it!!
