Hi I am not a doctor just a fellow sufferer, or was, some of the things could be life, others could be a result of your liver damage from Hep C

ID gave you some great advice

The first thing is to get blood work and a liver biopsy.  While you may have had a good result 10 years ago the damage is not linear. i.e. it took me 30 years to get cirrhosis therefore I have another 30, it does not work that way.

I found out I had HCV in Dec 07, then found out I was in early cirrhosis.  The only symptom I had was fatigue and red spots on my legs, a sign my body was fighting the HCV.  I did have some severe tendon problems and pain however that is up for debate as to relation to HCV

It is really important to have the biopsy so you can figure out where to go from here.
I finished the new tx with Incivek,Peg,Riba 6 months ago, I am now cured.  The new meds are working, if  your liver is not damaged you could afford to wait for the newer drugs  which should be FDA approved in 3 to 5 years.  If you are like me you would need to treat as soon as you can.

There are a lot of variables.
I wish you the best and please let us know how you are doing
This is a very caring supportive forum I call my support group.  Since there is only one support group in my area I joined here in 2007 and it is a great place for information, support, laughs etc.
Best wishes

thanks. i go monday to the ID doc and will have new labs done that day.

i can't imagine that all my symptoms are HCV related.

thus looking into CFIDS Lyme and getting a neuro work up.

i did a round of ABX for Lyme and i felt better for 2 weeks! so i think i have something going on that is not viral! HCV

Doc does not think it is Lyme as my tests, 2x   negative  but hear the tests are not reliable and some people have like 6 tests before a positive lyme. (if you have had it a long time and that is when severe symptoms start)

i have hiv and doing great with that undetectable..the biopsy was so long ago and am waiting for the new drugs! with 1a i don't want to try what is available especially feeling like i do right now!

thanks again

What were the results of your last biopsy? How rapidly HCV progresses varies from person to person.

You have a wide and varied list of symptoms, many of which could be the aging process :)  :) Many are not symptoms of Hepatitis C. The best thing to do sooner rather than later is have a physical and a full set of labs. You don't have to wait for your next biopsy to do all this.

Be sure to have a TSH:
cold hands & feet & can't get warm could be thyroid

Mood swings, dyslexia and the other items on your list could be addressed by a neuropsychiatric assessment. Or maybe you could see a regular behavioural health professional and see if you are depressed or anxious.

Either way the first thing is getting a recent set of labs and the physical. You could start troubleshooting some of these things now. Why wait until you feel worse?

There are others who have considerable insight and advice so be sure to check back later.

I hope you are OK and continue to post and let us know how you are doing ♫
