Thank you for your post. I am getting close to my 6 month post test after my second round of tx and needed some kind of encouragement should it come back positive again. I don't believe that I would try tx again for a while but would be willing to take Sam E and milk thistle till something new came out.Good Luck to you.

Yes,,,I totally agree,  Even if we don't reach SVR from tx,,,my dr said same thing,,,That you will be better off after doing the tx.  So,,,I guess that we do need to remember that tx is not going wasted and may even give us more time if we do need to do a future tx.  The best thing that could happen to us here at Medhelp,,,Is we know we have this and can monitor it. There is lots and lots of people that don't know they have it and continue in some cases a lifestyle that may not be great to the liver and unfortunately may not even know they have it until at end stages.  Hang in there,,,,just a matter of time of clearing out the monster!

Hey, thanks mag for that great post. I did one brutal one for 18 months and did not clear but I do feel that I bought some time. We will get there soon.
