Does anyone else have red little break outs?

Thanks for your time, but I'm almost two months EOT with Sovaldi and Olysio, and I seem to remember hearing of other people complaining about dark pink break outs on the skin. I have 3 on my forehead, and one on my arm...and I never break out. I'm trying to find out if it's from these meds, or Graft vs. host disease is the culprit, a disease very few of you have to worry about - that would come from my bone marrow transplant and could be very serious. I'm seeing my doc about it. Thanks so much and I hope we all SVR!!!

Thanks you guys for your input! Really, really appreciate it. Just wondering cause I'm almost two months out of S & O treatment, so I think (I don't know of course, and I'm hoping it's not) it's a mild form of graft vs host disease that I got from having a bone-marrow transplant..So you guys don't have to worry about this. I would actually love it if it turns out to be a symptom of withdrawal from the meds for hep, but I don't know at this point. I'm seeing my oncologist tomorrow to find out. Just trying to keep an even keel and stay calm and centered (not always an easy thing to do) but since I have these two things going on, it's hard to know which symptom is which. I have heard that the riba causes skin problems, and all this can play out differently from person to person so it's not a given. Good news is the bumps on my head seem to be going away, perhaps because of the meds I take for graft vs host. We keep on trying don't we??

Hello,
I am 4 weeks into treatment with Sovaldi RIBA and peg . Recently have been bothered with larger red bumps . To give you a visual starts of flat red area small ,increases in size goes from hive like to large pimple like . Raised ,gets a little head ,very sore burning . Almost shingle like ,not itchy though.
Still have not gotten to bottom of it ,mystery bumps .
Let me know if you have any luck in finding cause! Good luck

I posted this on a thread a few days ago that asked the same question:

I get those too!

At first, I thought they were just ordinary pimples and I sorta bothered them for a bit but they hafta be related to treatment or Hep C or cirrhosis because it would be just Too unfair for life to give you pimples at 60!

That said, a little Clearasil seems to make them go away the next day

and, don't bother, scratch or provoke them

just dry them out and try not to touch
