Done with Treatment!!

by mkp13, Jan 14, 2009 04:09PM
Hi all!  I just wanted to celebrate my first day off the meds.  I still have my itchy little bumps from the ribavirin and other assorted side-effects, but I'm hoping those will wear off over the next days and weeks.  I'm just glad to be done after 24 weeks in the Telaprevir trial.

My doc says that if I'm going to relapse, there's a 90% chance it'll happen in the first four weeks.  So I guess I have a month until the first hint on whether this worked.

Best wishes to all the others in treatment now.  The end is sweet!
