Dragon has left the building

Yep, that is what my Dr told me..."The dragon has left the building".. Oh yeah!!
Yep, my week 12 labs came back undetectable..
My ALTs are at 67
WBC 2.1
RBC 4.75
Hemoglobin 14.3
Platelets 134
TSH 1.43

Some of these came up alot from week 8 labs.. The RBC, Hemo, and platelets..
Yep, so my tx is working, and I'm on the way. Just the first step in my battle, but definately a needed motivational reminder!!!

Man, nows my chance to kick that damn dragon why it's down!!!!

LMAO. I know exactly how you feel. I was having the same thoughts.. Youu know, hoping it came back detectable so I could stop the damn meds, but this is by FAR better news. I'm winning!!

My liver is getting a rest, and a chance to regenerate somewhat.
I will never get use to these damn meds, or the friday night injection though.. I hate that damn needle with a passion.. My ritual is funny tooo.
I lay everything out, my wife washes her hands, and she gives me the injection. When I feel the *****, I scream, "F*ck this dragon"...
Thats my ritual, and looks like it will be the same for 34 more weeks.

Cuteus: I knew it, I KNEW it.. You do want me to sing to you!! LOL

Isn't it nice to get such good news?  I can remember when I got my 12 undetected.  I was absolutely shocked and extremely happy(I secretly was hoping for it not to work since I felt like ****).  Great news and congratulations.
Hey I have 12 weeks left now, can't wait to get happy news again.  My thinking is a little more positive now.  LOL

Congrats!  That really is a wonderful feeling when you get that news!  I'm waiting for my 24 week PCR at the moment on pins and needles (though my Dr. assures me that if clear at 12, you're almost always clear at 24 as a type 2, in the absence of enzyme spikes....).

Way to go Snook, there's no looking back now. Keep up the positive attitude and give your wife a gentle hug and a warm long kiss. You both deserve a pat on the back.

Peace Mattie

I still have the sweet feeling that I got when the week 12 test came back negative. It has been more than two years now, but I still remember it. Congratulations and I wish you will join us SVRs soon.

Now look what you've done, my friend!  You've gotten yourself  officially inscribed on the  SPCD's Most Wanted list.  And that, in case you're wondering, is the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Dragons, a front organization for the international viral conspiracy.  There's no turning back now.  What relief you must be feeling.

For starters, please don't forget to slip those underpants over your head and perform an 'undie' dance for all you're worth.  Tradition must be upheld!
