When they say we do 48 weeks of tx...does this means that we do 48 injections...because if i started on Friday 6/2009 with the first shot,and i stop at the 48th injection..;di do the exta week of riba....wouldnt this make it week 49?

One tratment week is 1 full week.

You do 48 shots of peg and 48 weeks of riba, so you do riba 1 week after shot 48.

Thanx...i hate calling my nurse to ask her all these question as  she is very busy..i like when it put this way   "48 shots"...as opposed to "48 weeks"...so its 48 shots of PEG and its 48 weeks of RIBA..so yes...i do take the the Riba one week after the 48th shot...now it seems so clear...THANK YOU....so in therory you could say it 49 weeks of tx,depending how you look at it....im sticking with "48 weeks of shots and 38 weeks of RIBA

48 shots and 48 weeks of riba = 48 weeks. They just do, Rocker.

Yup, like GreatBird said, 48 shots and 48 weeks are the same.  Count it out on a calendar.  If you include the week of riba after the last shot, you are still ending tx after 48 weeks.

NO ! Its still 48 weeks. If you take a shot on day 1 and then start the riba on the same day you take 47 more shots and 47 more weeks of riba after the first week. That is a total of 48 weeks.
   Don't confuse yourself the brain fog is setting in apparently.  LOL

Don't know how many times I sat with my little calendar hoping I had made a mistake and I was going to finish earlier than I thought the last time I looked at the little calendar

Lol, yeah, I've done the same thing!  Fact is 48 weeks equals 48 weeks.
