E.O.T it is here!

Just a little history... I started tx Dec. 26, 2009 - Geno 1a, stage 2, starting vl. 5mil. I am in the Teleprevir trial no placebo. Tonight at 7 pm I will do my last injection of IFN... Friday morning after Thanksgiving will be my last Riba dose. I will drive to the clinic and turn in whatever I have left. How fitting because I have so much to be thankful for.

First I want to thank all those on this forum that have helped me through their answers to my questions or just the informative post and links to information that have helped me make many decisions. When I first visited this site over a year and half ago I was looking for anything that would lead me in my pursuit of a natural remedy for my tx. It was because of this site that I found there was no natural tx and it lead me in a decision to begin tx and the importance of finding a good doctor who got me into a trail.

Although my tx has not been as hard as some I have read on this forum it has not been a piece of cake either. I don't post much but I have many times sat and read the support and encouragement those here have given to others and it has been a benefit and blessing to me. You are doing a good thing! I will keep you up to date on my post progress.

Last I want to thank God through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who saved me and gave me the grace to get through this on a daily basis. To Him be the glory! Who gave me a wonderful wife who has been with me every step of the way. For my son who although new his dad was hurting encouraged me every day with his hugs and motivated me to make those fishing trips to Sierra's. And to all the support and prayers of friends and family.

Congratulations on being done!  We started around the same time and I know what a long journey the year has been, but you made it.  You should start feeling better in a few weeks.

Wonderful to be finished, and absolutely fantastic that you were undetected at 4 weeks, simply tremendous for a geno 1!  My hat's off to you for being a trial participant and paving the road for others to have a better and shorter course.

Thanks for sharing and posting, and my prayers for your SVR!  Good luck, and best wishes. ~eureka

PS:  I too stumbled across this site initially looking for a natural remedy or cure... what a long, strange trip it's been, hmm? :)
