Elevated Alpha2 Macroglobulins

Recent FibroSure test results showed that I had elevated Alpha 2 Macroglobulins (303H). My FibroSure test score was 0.22, fibrosis stage: F0-F1 and necroinflammatory activity 0.17. What do these figures indicate, specificaly the Alpha 2 Macroglobulins
number?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

New forcast, and models show that both storms, are going to come up the eastern seaboard..They are forecasting atleast a foot of rain, in these areas, and heavy flooding..Get ready, the first one is hitting the Panhandle this morning, then heading up the East coast.. Good luck to everyone.. Looks like Miami might be in the clear..

The significant numbers are the Fibrosis score and the ALT.  The trouble with a Fibrosis score F0-F1 is: there's an important difference between NO fibrosis/scarring and Stage 1.  Stage one means some progression of the hep in the liver, toward cirrhosis, has happened.  Not long ago, a lot of people said, it's not really a big difference because you don't need treatment, even at Stage one.  Opinions are moving toward early treatment now, however.  Recent study showed, the less fibrosis, the better your chances of responding to treatment.  Patients with Stage one fibrosis had better odds of responding to treatment than those with more fibrosis.  Also, at NO fibrosis, your disease may not progress in the liver for 10 or 20 years.  At stage 1, you may progress to Stage 2 in 5-7 years. There are no "rules," but that's the thinking now, based on watching what's happening to monitored patients.  And, that's how it went for me.  To Stage 1 in 24 years, then to stage 2 inside the 7 years I went between biopsies.  Any reaso not to have a biopsy, to know for sure?  Good luck!
