Elevated SGPT

Need Advice,

My brother have an elevated SGPT 87 U/L and The doctor only advice him to take a liveraid(Vitamins). But still he is very worried about this SGPT thing. Can you advice me further about this SGPT and how can this be prevented.

many things could cause an elevated liver function test. Alcohol, certain mediciations, vitamins/supplements etc within a few days of test. even exercise "could" raise the results. Tell him to retest in a month and NOT to drink alcohol, or UNnesscerary meds, vitamins/supps for at least 4 days before test.
