Elevated Triglyceride level

I am 31 yrs old resident of India. I am a non vegetarian, smokes 2 cigarette a day and used to drink 90ml Alcohol daily. Recently went for a complete check up and found that my Cholestrol levels are high (260). HDL - 34, LDL - 164, Triglycerides - 300, LDL/HDL ratio - 7.6, SGPT - 54 and SGOT - 28.

The doctor prescribed be Ezevas 10mg, Zyloric, Neucobal Forte and Alcoliv for one month.

I was told by my friend that consuming Ezevas for lowering cholestrol is not good for lever. I would like to have your opinion on this and how to get out of this elevated SGPT. Also how can I become normal without taking any medicine.

Today again I checked for Hepatitis B and proved negative.

Glucose (F) - 77 mg/dl (95)
SGPT - 18 IU/dl (54)
Cholestrol - 144 mg/dl (260)
Triglycerides - 291 mg/dl (300)
HDL - 46 mg/dl (34)
LDL - 40 mg/dl (164)
VLDL - 58 mg/dl

I am a bit worried about the Triglyceride levels which has not shown any significant change. can anyone explain this.

low fat diet and exercise will lower your triglycerides. the rest of your blood work look good.
