Eye Problems

I seem to remember in the list of possible tx sides eye problems. Does anyone know if the are vision problems, eye strain or problem with the eyeball. The reason I ask is I noticed something on the white part of my eye...it looks like a bump (growth) it still the same color as the white of my eye but looks like a bump about the size of a pin head. I am making an appt with the eye doctor but am curious as to any imput

Treatment has affected my vision and I have had eye sties.  It is not uncommon. I was told to put warm compresses on my eye(s)  It helps.  The first time I got one, it was huge. It was up under my eyelid. Sometimes my vision get very blurry, when I have a hard time seeing I lay down and rest.  I have a eye mask that goes in the fridge. I use that when my eyes burn and feel dry. It is also helpful. My doctor insisted I have an eye exam before I started tx. for a baseline.

i had an eye exam a year ago (pre-tx)because i had a white bump on my white part of my eye. it was dx as a pinguecuela(not sure of the spelling). i was told it was harmless and they rarely remove them(cosmetic procedure) since they usually are nothing. it can feel at times like you have something in your eye, and they told me to use eye lubricant. it is annoying just having it, but i'm glad it's not dangerous. i don't know if that's what you have but try looking it up online. they do show pictures of it. good luck!

You should get that checked out by an opthamologist. Retinal hemorraging and cotton wool spots are two possible side effects, but I don't think either of them generate white bumps.  Please let us know what it is.

Don't know about that amberg never heard of it before.  The eye problem that we are given a baseline for before treatment causes blindness - but I never heard about eye bumps. However, judging by my tongue (which sounds dumb but it seems connected to me) - very possible. These tongue bumps (swollen taste buds that are white at the end that HURT and also BUMPS) are the worst.

I'm glad you made an appt right away.  Could be some sort of infection or something. I waited WAY too long with my face problem thinking it would go away - BIG MISTAKE.

The medication the doc gave me helped so much I wanted to kick my own ass for waiting so long.
