Fatigue/hormones/Gaba receptors in HCV

Been reading up on the connection between fatigue and our Gaba levels, and how our hormone levels effect both fatigue, and anxiety/panic, especially as it relates to HCV and Riba induced neuron stress.

here's a good jumping off spot...

Men please note, progesterone is a key factor in fatigue and stress, check out linking articles.
Women, same true for us, and the balance of estrogen to progesterone is also a factor.
Cortisol also plays a key role for both sexes. As do several other hormones.
All, good reasons for HCV people to have an endocrinologist on board during our treatment.

also note taking natural Gaba to remedy this has been called into question due to it's inability to cross the blood brain barrier. However some newer drugs, such as Ambien do cross over and act on the Gaba receptors, creating enough rest in all 4 stages of sleep being a key to mediate fatigue.
also note enough HGH is necessary for all 4 sleep stages to be reached, and again no "pill form" yet exists that can  help with this,  presently only the injectable 191 chain protein crosses the barrier and is acceptable to trigger brain response and restore    stages 3 and 4 to those lacking the ability.

Alternatively, melatonin appears to be the only non-pharmaceuticals that can aide in restoring  the rest cycle, however as a non-controlled substance one can never be sure if it's synthesis and purity are safe. (as with tryptophan there have been bad batches, although to my knowledge only one fatal batch of tryptophan, years ago. Still it gives one pause as to whether to get a pharmaceutical...where batches are tested....or get a "natural" cooked God knows where and under what conditions.

The liver is the organ that synthesizes serotonin each day, and melatonin each night, so the HCV disease itself lowering overall function is what then causes the inability for rest or for nerves to remain settled down.
However, up to now, I’ve not heard of any doctors keeping an eye on anything more than our thyroid levels….(except for mine at my insistence). Perhaps as more research emerges, and more of us start asking for help the climate will change and we can utilize and/or suppress hormone levels more, in order to restore our health and energy even while carrying this virus.
