Ferritin update

Got my genetic hemacromatosis results  -  negative!

But my ferritin is up from 1200 to 2070!!  Ouch..

My iron is 140 - normal.

OIC, they did a cbc, and a complete chemistry profile on this week 8 one, same on week 12 cept they will throw in the ol' VL test again.  Never seen an iron profile.  hmmmm berrry INTeresting...I'm whacked out on ambien, time for bed.  Sleep be mine.

It isn't in a cbc.  They have to do an iron profile.  I don't know what to think of this.

I've never seen ferritin on any of my bloodwork.  Should I?  Is this routine?

WOW i freaked mine was 1245 last check, your way up there! I think it was Jim that told me tho, a lot of people who are txing have high ferritin!
