First shot of Interferon done

First shot of Interferon done

did the shot at 9pm last night, felt the fluey symptoms half an hour later, and settled in bed.  Felt tiredness, hot, arms floppy and heavy, skin sensitive, and a bit achey (achy), but nothing too bad at all.  And it all subsided within 4 hours.  So much easier than I had anticipated.

Riba done with a protein drink at 8am. Felt a bit heady after the Riba.  Had a good day, walking and doing the laundry.  Flopped in bed at 4.30, (hubby cooked dinner) woke at 7.30 and had dinner and took the evening Riba dose, with rice and vegies and coconut milk (green thai curry) this evening at 8.30.  Drinking lots and lots of sweet weak tea, so getting a good fluid intake, but water makes me gag.  I'd like to hear what other people's experience of Riba is.  As its a built up effect, it's too early days to know how it affects me.

Glad you have number one finished. How are you feeling today? My first shot was by far the worst, so if this is your worst, maybe you will have an easy time. I still have flu-like symptoms every week-end, achey (achy), feverish tired. But I will survive!
Take care

started out w/same flu like for me, thought this is easy, might hit harder when hemoglobin drops in some weeks (about month) ask dr/RN about rescue drugs.

good luck, w/tx, hope it goes easy and is quickly effective for you.
