Freaking out about Hep C??

Is it likely a person can contract Hep C by something other than direct blood contact by something like a needle?

Like what if you had a bit of dried blood on your hand and touched your face/mouth and didn't even know you had anything on your hands? Could you get it from that?

I have really bad health anxiety, and for some reason I've been concerned about this since I work in a hospital.

Is there any reason to be concerned?

Here is some information on what Hep C is and how it's transmitted from MedHelp.org. It should help alleviate your concerns. Though the virus lives in dried blood for some time, direct blood to blood contact is required for the disease to spread.
