"Fuzzy" brain sx...

Hi everybody!
I know this is not the worst type of sx i have read.... BUT.. it kind of worries me a bit.. I'm doing the last year of my Md.. and i realy need my brain going, at least half speed.. As many of you have allready quessed, i'm asking about this.. "brain haze" and, laking of energy/concentration.. (I'm doing my 4/48 week of Inter. + Rib. treatment) Does it go away? do i have to accept to have this till the end? Nothing i can do??
I can take many of the sx, but, i dont like the idea of my head not working properly. Thanks to you all!
Ps. Dry mouth + throat is a bit easyer now

Gasping, as a matter of fact!

That was CLASSIC!

Good thing you're almost done.

I'd hate to think about what else you might lose if this goes on much longer!  :)

BTW - I've put salt in my coffee and sweet'n'low in the saline solution i make for sinus irrigation.

Week 41 of 48. Brain fog seems worse. Lost the sugar bowl the other day. I knew it was somewhere. I was getting PO'd. Got the creamer from the fridge and started pouring it in my cup, but then I noticed my cup sitting on the stove. I had the sugar bowl in my hand all the time!! Went to the store with my grandson and took my wifes car. When we came out into the parking lot after getting groceries, I started looking for my keys. No keys. Had my wifes keys but not mine for my truck. Then I couldn't find my truck. Did I leave the keys in it, and was it stolen? I knew where I parked it but it wasn't there! We must have wandered the parking lot for 5 minutes looking for a bright red truck. I was getting ready to go back into the store and call the cops when I noticed my wife's car. What is she doing here? Then it dawned on me. I HAD the wife's car. Yeah, for me it doesn't get easier. Take plenty of notes or even a tape recorder. Believe me, thoughts are but a fleeting moment in my brain and then they're gone. Good luck!

thats funny "when your brain is like a brick instead of a sponge"... i was wondering if we followed someones suggestion from another post this side i think above, (can't remember who said it - if you see this speak up) about making a website and tracking peoples experiences. we could add into the mix  of treatment protocol, if they were able to work, type of work or school or other learning or sport experience,  after tx effects.. all the things we inquiring minds would like to know about.. like i am wondering if running the Boston marathon would keep my mind sharp.(or my limbs w/feeling). or even if diet or herbal remedies others would use before, during, or after tx. like i havea read here many times we don't always hear all the stories, some who have few symptoms don't post.

Hi~ I hardly notice it anymore; but it was definitely there in the beginning.  Saturdays (day after my shots) are bad, but the rest of the week my brain feels ok.  Maybe it's because I've been taking mandolin lessons all along and have been learning how to read music.  Mental aerobics.  It's tough when you're not a kid anymore and your brain is more like a brick instead of a sponge.  ;-)

sometimes it can get better, just make sure to drink enough water, and eat healthy foods. some can't eat well enough on tx. might want to try gatorade to make sure electrolytes are in balance.

i found early in tx. that orange juice really helped. with some symptoms. of dizzyness.

brain fog.  got a little easier around weeks 13 for me.

Hi. Can sympathise with what you are going thru. I am on week 8/24 and having this fuzzy brain situation also. Been working 13 hours a day at a fast pace with the computer and calculations though its not easy

I dont think there is a way out for fuzzy brain problem except that keep on taking a break every few hours so as to revitalise yourself

On the weekends take a total break and maximise your sleep. That what I do and I feel more stronger to start work again on Monday morning
Regards
