GI PA - § All - Questions?

by MB14915, Sep 10, 2002 12:00AM
Happy to have you back.  This is the best forum with the nicest and caring individuals from what I have encountered.

I am on the AA list and waiting for my number.  I am an insulin dependent diabetic, type 2, 70 cc of insulin, glucotrol XL 10 mg 2X a day.  Also have underactive thyroid condition - synthroid .125 dosage )

Tx affects the above. From your experience or people who have posted on this board - how much worse will the thyroid and diabetes get? Will I be taking .250 synthroid (??) etc.? Obviously this affects some people without these conditions.  I would like to know what I am in for. I did post this last week and did find a couple of answers, but it is still not clear.

Everyone is different and I know you don't have a crystal ball, however, any information or websites on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone is having a good day.  Thanks for your reply.
Maxine
